“Hey there, I’m Zuzana, an artist fuelled by two big loves: protecting our environment and sharing its stunning beauty through my art. You’ll often find wildlife and landscapes dancing through my creations, reflecting the world around us.
I boldly call myself an “undisciplined artist.” While I’ve studied at Emily Carr University of Art and Design and taken numerous art courses, I believe that true creativity can burst forth from any medium. Curiosity, exploration, and a dash of playfulness are my secret ingredients for sparking inspiration. With a toolbox full of possibilities, I love to dream, create and push boundaries.
My artistic adventures span a wide spectrum, from painting and drawing to digital illustration and recycled art sculpture. I’ve recently discovered that mastering the skill of connecting diverse materials together opens up a world of limitless possibilities. Anything can become art, and we are all surrounded by so many materials just waiting to be transformed into something magical.
My work has found homes in galleries and with collectors near and far, and I’ve had a blast leading workshops and art programs. As a commissioned and resident artist, I get to craft unique pieces for clients, which is a total joy. I especially love hanging out in nature and creating with kids—they’re the ultimate teachers, showing me how to see the world with fresh eyes.
Through my art, I aim to spark a sense of wonder and appreciation for our planet, inviting everyone to join me on this vibrant journey of creativity and care!”
