Originally from France, Florence Janiaud has always been passionate about creating, assembling, drawing, and cutting. A fan of collage and Pop Art, she has now ventured into dry pastel, a medium that allows her to create vivid colors and use her fingers for a tactile artistic experience.
Inspired by artists Nicolas Party, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Niki de Saint Phalle, Florence’s exhibition features large round paintings that stage an imaginative, colorful, and organic world. These works took shape during meditation sessions, where the roundness of the paintings invites viewers to immerse themselves, with each panel offering a unique vision of our beautiful Earth. The colors and textures facilitate different levels of meditation, creating a deeply touching experience.
Imagine diving into the depths of the sea to the rhythm of your own breath, discovering new worlds through a porthole at each step down. It’s an immersion between art and breath. Do you see the same decor when your breath slows down?
Are you ready to dive in?
