With over 25 artists in this Member’s show we have a wide mix of mediums and styles. One of our member’s generously submitted a piece from their private collection by Ontario artist Brent McIntosh, a Canadian Postwar & Contemporary painter (info provided by: mutualart.) This piece anchors the show on our main stage and invites you on a forested pathway through this themed show.
We have an incredible wealth of talented artists in our community and it shows when you wander through our main gallery with works that range from the classic acrylic, oils and watercolours to felted mushrooms, pressed flower jewelry, encaustic and digital art. Everyone has their own take on what ‘From the Forest Floor’ means and we’re excited to share all these individual interpretations of the forest with our guests.
