Discover the wonderful world of birding.

Birds are a part of our daily lives, whether it is a crow in the yard or ducks at the local park, but when you pay closer attention, you will quickly discover so many more incredible birds of all colours and sizes, each with a unique song.

Birding B.C. exhibits just a fraction of bird species Janette observed, photographed and then drew over her first year of birding. The work represents a wide variety of birds, from the very common American Robin to the often elusive Northern Pygmy Owl. These drawings are meant to highlight the beauty of each species, allowing the viewer to study unique details that may otherwise go unnoticed during a fleeting encounter. Each piece is complimented by a rustic, handmade wooden frame.
