The Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre is incredibly excited to announce our weekend workshop with Vancouver based art consultant Pennylane Shen. Anyone that has seen Pennylane’s Ted Talk or taken one of her workshops will know how invaluable her experience and tailored feedback can be. If you’re an established or emerging artist looking to grow and improve your practice then this seminar is a must.
Artist Development Weekend
Who can take this class?
This class is open to anyone aged 16+ and is intended for artists of all abilities looking to improve their art practice.
What is it?
This weekend of seminars will run Saturday October 22nd – Sunday October 23rd. With an optional Friday (Oct 21st) evening artist meet up and an invitation to our Thursday (Oct 20th) evening exhibition opening. Workshop participants will also be invited to a special social event at Revelstoke Mountain Resort with a special announcement from local artist Jessica Leahey.

Joining the Small Group Critique
The small group critique is intended for everyone to join but only 6 – 8 artists will be able to present their work for the critique. This is super valuable for everyone to get immediate feedback and tips and tricks on how to bring your art to the next level.
