MUG NIGHT POTTERY WORKSHOP

Create a unique, one-of-a-kind mug in this two-session workshop! You’ll be guided through the entire process, from hand building and embellishing to glazing. No prior pottery experience is needed to join our Mug Night, making this an ideal introduction to pottery. Whether you’re crafting a gift, exploring a new hobby, or simply looking for a fun night out, this class is perfect for you!

LINOCUT WORKSHOP

Explore the art of linocut printmaking and create expressive prints in this engaging, hands-on workshop. Ideal for individuals of all skill levels, this class is designed for those who want to grasp the fundamentals of relief printmaking, with no prior experience required.

AFTER SCHOOL ART | 5 WEEKS

Our 5-week after-school kids camp is a creative adventure filled with hands-on fun! Each week, kids will explore a variety of crafts from painting to beadwork, experiment with different materials, and let their imaginations run wild in a supportive, playful environment.

RING WORKSHOP
Hosted by Dana Cloghesy
Spend the day at the Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre learning the art of silver jewelry making. In this workshop, you’ll design, texture, and shape your own custom ring, then finish it to a smooth polish. By the end of the class, you’ll walk away with a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry that you made yourself.

CHOPSTICK WORKSHOP

Join us in the RVAC Woodshop for a fun and hands-on woodworking experience! In this two-hour workshop, you’ll learn to craft two sets of chopsticks under the guidance of local woodworker and wholesome hero Ken Talbot. No experience necessary — just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm.

Join us for Artist Socials ! These laid-back, no-pressure events are the perfect opportunity to connect with other creatives in the community, share ideas, and socialize. There’s no set agenda—just good vibes and great conversation. You don’t need to be a member of the Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre to attend, so grab a friend or come ready to meet new ones.

The gallery will have some basic supplies on hand, like scissors and brushes, however artists are expected to be self sufficient and bring their own supplies. In the past participants have worked on everything from illustrations and paintings, to fishing flies and mending projects. We welcome all forms of creative expression, just please avoid brining any projects that are overly loud or smelly.

LIFE DRAWING | WEEKLY DROP IN

Life Drawing is back and will run every Monday night until the end of March. Join us for a Life Drawing session where artists of all skill levels can practice drawing from a live model. Make sure to arrive early to claim your spot and get set up.

Come spend a free evening surrounded by poetry, creativity, and community! Whether you’d like to read your own work, share a favorite poem, or just sit back and enjoy, everyone is invited. A free community wide project for all
The Teeny Art Gallery is live, ever-changing, and waiting for you! This miniature gallery operates on the “take a piece, leave a piece” model. Create something tiny, place it in the gallery, and take home a new tiny masterpiece!
Revelstoke’s smallest art gallery is nestled on the left side of the Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre at 320 Wilson St. Spot the little white box in the undercover section—it’s here year-round, snow or shine!
